After the Ku Klux Klan said it would use lethal force against Feruguson protesters, the internet "hactivism" group, Anonymous have begun to reveal identities of KKK members.

The Missouri Ku Klux Klan chapter began handing out fliers around Ferguson, Missouri, before the Michael Brown grand jury decision, threatening violent protestors with "lethal force".

"The good people of St. Louis County of all races, colours and creeds will not tolerate your threats of violence against our police officers, their families and our communities," a flyer stated. "We will use lethal force as provided under Missouri law to defend ourselves."

On Wednesday, KKK leader Frank Ancona told MSNBC explained the reasons for spreading the fliers and that he believes the fliers are making the situation better in St. Louis.

Anonymous, a group of collective internet hackers, promised to take the hoods off Klan members in the Ferguson area and expose their identitites through social media. The group announced an anti-KKK campaign with the release of a video, which they declare is the beginning of a "Cyber War" against the Klan.

On Friday, the video from Anonymous was published on Youtube and social media that announced the beginning of the KKK Operation, #OpKKK and #Hoodsoff.

"Due to your actions we have started Operation KKK. The aim of our operation is nothing more than Cyber Warfare. Anything you upload will be taken down, anything you use to promote the KKK will be shut down," an anonymous voice states in the video

"We are attacking you because of what you did to our brothers and sisters at the Ferguson protest on the 12th of November... You messed with our family and now we will mess with yours... Ku Klux Klan you shoud have expect us."

In the video, dozens of identities of alleged KKK members are revealed with their names, photographs, and areas of residence. Some of the posts even include the job positions held by the individuals.

The KKK was amused to see the threats from Anonymous and called them a "bunch of wannabes" who won't take any action. While the Klan did not seem worried about the threats, the Anonymous group was able to seize two of the Twitter accounts belonging to the Ku Klux Klan from the Anonymous group (@KuKluxKlanUSA and @YourKKKcentral).

Along with the twitter accounts the anonymous group has compromised, they have also hacked personal accounts of KKK members as well as the racial segregation group's membership phone line.

The grand jury for Michael Brown and Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson is expected to reach a verdict in the next few days.
