Al Roker, the weather reporter on NBC's Today Show, is attempting to set the world record for the longest, uninterruupted live weather report.

Right now, the world record is set at 33 hours by Norweginan broadcaster Eli Kari Gjengedal

Roker will have to follow a set of rules that must be verified by by Guinness. These include: only talking about the weather for the entire time, specifically current weather and the weather the past week and upcoming week, taking a five-minute break for every 60 minutes completed, and having two separate wtinesses on the scene at all times.

Fans took to social media to support Al Roker using the hashtag #Rokerthon. Rokere will continue this until Friday Nov. 14 at 8 am.

Stay tuned to see whether Roker becomes the latest addition to the Guinness World Book Of Records.
