Acclaimed Film Director Mike Nichols Passes Away At 83

On Wednesday, award-winning film director Mike Nichols passed away from cardiac arrest at the age of 83.

Throughout his film career, Nichols directed movies such as "The Graduate", which won him the Oscar for Best Director, and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf." 

He was married to ABC News reporter Diane Sawyer and was one of 12 people to win all four major U.S. entertainment awards (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and a Tony).

Celebrities and fans of Nichols' work took to social media to reminisce the director's work.
