The popular reality television show featuring Honey Boo Boo, a quirky child beauty pageant contestant, has been canceled by network TLC.

The cancellation comes after TMZ reported on Thursday that June Shannon, better known as Mama June, is dating a sex offender.

Shannon posted a video on the Honey Boo Boo Facebook page that denied the rumors.

"I would not ever, ever put my kids in danger," said Shannon, after confirming the cancellation.
