ISIL Beheads British Aid Worker Alan Henning
United Kingdom Prime Minister David Cameron denounced the beheading, saying it “shows just how barbaric and repulsive these terrorists are.”
The Salford taxi driver traveled to Syria in 2013 as part of a volunteer group to deliver food and water to those affected by the war. He was captured by ISIL militants shortly after entering Syria.

The video follows a similar format as the previous execution videos of James Foley and Steven Sotloff. Henning is the fourth Westerner beheaded by ISIL.
At the end of the video, ISIL threatened to kill American aid worker Peter Kassig next.
