Hong Kong: CY Leung Refuses To Quit As Leader

As the pro-democracy protests continue in Hong Kong, Chief Executive CY Leung says that he will not resign as leader, according to BBC News

Protesters are angry about China's plan to vet candidates for the 2017 elections and want full democracy. After protesting on the streets for days, they have since occupied two key government buildings.

Though he is not resigning, Leung will send Chief Secretary Carrie Lam to talk with student leaders in hopes of mitigating the situation and ending the protests.
