L.A.'s annual Style Fashion Week featured a lineup of great designers showing off their latest collections Thursday night. Donna Mizani’s show made a strong close to the event as she stays true to her design aesthetic of utilizing cutout designs to showcase a woman’s physique in a sexy way.

Clean and trendy, Mizani presented garments with beautiful patterns on simple but key pieces every fashionista must have in her closet. The necklines varied from low to high with deep cutouts on the sides, which were fabulous. The styles were also very diverse and demonstrated Mizani’s talents in creating different forms of modern clothing that women could wear to work, out for coffee or while dominating the streets of L.A.

Mizani utilized the same type of fabric, a blue and black flower print, nicely, mixing up the design slightly in multiple looks. Each garment had its own unique qualities, allowing the audience to take a different outlook on the same style. For example, if someone loved the pattern but not the overall piece, there were plenty of other options with the same fabric.

The best piece of the show was a gray-green bodycon dress with a cutout right under the bust. "This dress would be worth buying, which says a lot since I'm a broke college student,” said Keiry Rios, one of the spectators.

The model chosen to wear the dress was perfect as the dress went great with her skintone and hair. The same model also displayed a beautiful white silk dress with a white jacket, which was the second best look of the night.

But, all of the pieces in Mizani's collection were exquisite. A lot of time and consideration went into choosing which model would wear each outfit. The makeup and hairstyles also assisted in the overall aesthetic and didn't detract from the clothing or the presentation.

All of the choices were clean, classy and most importantly, simple enough to be recreated. Every aspect of the styling was up to par with the marvelous designs and proved Donna Mizani’s artistic potential, excellent attention to detail and showmanship.
