My roommate has become a makeup professional. But, how did she learn the tricks of the trade?

YouTube beauty vloggers.

To make things easy for you (and funny for me), I've included our descriptions of each of these lovely ladies. Here are our top picks for the best beauty vloggers on the Internet.

Bethany Mota

This teenager has become quite the celebrity, even ABC thinks so. Mota was cast on this season of “Dancing With the Stars” and one thing’s for sure, she earned her fame. Her bubbly personality and relatable makeup and hair videos are definitely worth a watch, especially because she promotes inner beauty just as much as outer beauty.

Roommate’s Word: “Bubbly”

Hey, that’s what I said! Great roommates think alike.

Ingrid Nilsen

Ingrid Nilsen has mastered the art of video editing and voice-overs, so her videos are genuinely fun to watch. Her tutorials are easy to understand and she’ll always tell you exactly which makeup products she uses. Cover Girl even chosen Nilsen as their "Glambassador."

Roommate’s Word: “Quirky”

Exactly. The majority of her videos will leave you thinking, “Ugh, she’s just so adorable.”

Zoella

Sometimes I watch her videos just to hear Zoella’s British accent, but she really does have the best beauty tips. She posts a lot of skincare hauls, including everything from face wash to body soap, and has a lot of great advice when it comes to looking your best.

Roommate’s Word: “Boots”

Boots is a drugstore much like CVS in the UK and almost all of Zoella’s beauty hauls come from there.

Casey Holmes

Casey Holmes is stunning both inside and out. Her Southern belle personality is very upbeat and she seems genuinely passionate about her tutorials. Her videos focus more on different kinds of eye makeup, so if you’re looking to try out a new kind of eyeliner, Holmes is your girl, not to mention she has beautiful hair.

Roommate’s Word: “Southern”

In the best way, too! Can I move to Georgia?

Jaclyn Hill

Jaclyn Hill’s videos are mesmerizing. She is the queen of blending and is great at clearly explaining each step of her tutorials. Hill focuses on more dramatic makeup looks, but the final results are always stunning.

Roommate’s Word: “Skilled”

Agreed. No matter how hard I try, I will never do my makeup as well as her.

Lauren Curtis

Curtis' personality could put a smile on anyone’s face. The Australian beauty isn’t afraid to make fun of herself and her quirky personality shines through every one of her uploads. As a bonus, she doesn’t speed up her videos as much, so you can try out your own look right along with her.

Roommate’s Word: “Relatable”

Some of Curtis' best videos are tutorials on how to do your makeup when you’re in a hurry. So, if you’re anything like me, you need her advice.

Tanya Burr

Tanya Burr’s tutorials are a little bit more unique. She’ll teach you how to do makeup inspired by your favorite celebrities, and you’ll fall in love with her personality along the way.

Roommate’s Word: “Nice”

Tanya’s the kind of girl we all want as our best friend.
