Halloween is just two days away! Want to watch a horror movie but sick of the Hollywood ones you've seen a hundred times? We've got you covered. Challenge yourself to the following international horror films for a surprise.

1. "Shutter" (Thailand)

A young photographer, Thun, and his girlfriend, Jane, live a normal and peaceful life until one day, while driving home from a college reunion, they knock down a pale-looking girl and leave without looking back. Blurry figures start to appear in Thun's photographs and although Jane is immensely worried, Thun simply dismisses her. Jane's investigation into the eerie events lead her to a dark and hidden page in Thun's past.

2. "A Tale of Two Sisters" (Korea)

Inspired by a folktale, "A Tale of Two Sisters" centers around the mystery of Su-Mi and Su-Yeong. On a sunny afternoon, their father drives the two sisters to a mansion in the countryside to meet with their step-mother. Su-Mi starts to realize their step-mother has always been planning to hurt her and her sister. She violently stands up against their father, until he tells her the unexpected truth. The film is the highest-grossing Korean horror film, and the first to be screened in America.

3. "Rigor Mortis" (Hong Kong)

"Rigor Mortis" is a tribute to a classic vampire film in Hong Kong, "Mr. Vampire". A former renowned star of "Mr. Vampire", Chin-Siu-ho, is suicidal after he becomes a faded star. With the thought of ending his life in mind, he decides to move into an apartment with a history of murder. Siu-ho meets his neighbors in the apartment complex, including a retired vampire hunter, a traumatized woman with her child, and a woman who plans to bring her dead husband back to life.

4. "4bia" (Thailand)

Although the film is split into four stories, by different directors, the characters of the story have a subtle link to one another. "Loneliness" portrays a girl who begins texting and calling a stranger who turns out to be anything but human. "Deadly Charm" is about a group of bullies cursed one-by-one by the victim they've beaten to death. "The Man in The Middle" is about four friends who go camping and rafting together, until one of them foreshadows that if he dies so will the others by drowning the next day. "The Last Flight" is about a flight attendant and mistress of the Virnistan prince. Pim, the mistress, is ordered to be onboard with the wife of the Prince. The story takes a grim turn when the princess dies on the plane and Pim is trapped as the sole escort of the body.

5. "Rec" (Spain)

A female reporter and photographer decides to produce a documentary about firefighters. After receiving a call from the police, the two filmmakers follow a team of firefighters to the scene. Rather than an ordinary visit, a deadly disease spreads at incredible speed within the apartment, turning residents into zombies. The documentary becomes a record of the horrors within the apartment complex. The form of the film is a handheld camera style, similar to that of "Paranormal Activity".
