Kate Middleton is facing severe morning sickness again, also known as hyperemesis gravidarum, according to Hollywood Life. So yes, she's pregnant.

Though the duchess is currently feeling ill, people of the world are once again thrilled about another royal coming along the way. The Washington Post reported that Kate wasn’t at her 12-week mark, but chose to share the news anyway.

Kate and William made the announcement on Sept. 8.

The exciting news coming from England has reached the U.S. and other countries around the world. People have kept close tabs on the royal couple and their son, George, since the early stages of their relationship. The buzz rose around their wedding time in April 2011. Once again, people will continue to guess the sex and name of the unborn child.

The royals are closely watched because they remind us all about a Disney fairytale: love at first sight, marriage and (after the Disney movie ends) a child. The marriage is like Cinderella (minus an evil stepmother and stepsisters). We can look at her as a “commoner” who married a prince and is now known to pretty much everyone. It’s all part of the fairytale. Now, every girl has hopes of marrying a prince and becoming royal.

We have celebritized royalty through portrayal of films like “The Prince and Me” or “The Princess Diaries” (mostly chick-flicks). Members of the media were on a wild goosechase during the princess’s rise and fall. Everyone knows of Princess Diana—people during and after her time.

Politicians have always been under the limelight, whether they are part of a monarchy or a democracy, but the idea of a monarchy with a prince and princess, and a king and queen seems more appealing.

Celebritizing the royal family treats them as we would actors and singers, and allows us to feel like we know them, just as we would with celebrities on reality TV and/or tabloids. We see pictures of them getting married, out doing charity work and spending time with family—all the things we see celebs doing through paparazzi photos.

Since the duchess got married, she has particularly been considered a fashion icon, monitored by E! News and others.

Acculturated writer, Ashley E. McGuire, wrote an article about why she and others love Kate and William. She wrote, it’s because it’s a chance for the world to see a family grow together. They’re a young couple who are believed to last and grow old together, all while being in a family of power.
