In Coloardo's largest mathamphetamine bust, 17 people were charged for selling the drug from a taco truck. According to authorities, "Operation Cargo" confiscated 55 pounds of crystal meth from the truck over five weeks before executing the bust.

"The brazenness of this ring was astounding," said Attorney General John Suthers. "For example, customers could literally walk up to a food truck and order a side of meth with their taco."

Customers reportedly purchased drugs on the side using code phrases such as "six pack" and "yellow cups."

Barbra Roach, the DEA special agent in charge, said that the arrest has put an end to the organized transnational criminal activity operating in Colorado.

What triggered the drug dealers to sell meth from a taco truck is still a mystery.
