Timothy Ray Jones, a father of five from Lexington County (S.C.), was arrested for killing all of his children. Jones has admitted to the accusation and is currently facing murder charges. However, his motive remains unknown.

According to Alabama Law Enforcement, authorities discovered the bodies of the children on the dirt road off of the Alabama Highway 10 near the Oak hill community in Wilcox County on Tuesday. The children ranging from the age 1 to 8 were put in five separate garbage bags.

Jones was a 32-year-old single father who shared the children's custody with his ex-wife. He initially told his neighbors in South Carolina that he was taking the children from his home in Lexington to another state.

On Saturday, he was taken into custody in Mississippi for driving under influence, which led to the discovery of evidences in the vehicles that suggested homocide.
