You never know what you're going to get.

From a high-fee scene to a low-key kickback, Low End Theory has some of the most interesting acts perform at their venue. Acts such as Flying Lotus were founded here, unconventional but club banger Odd Future have stomped here -- and hip hop soul giants such as Erykhah Badu have made appearances at this underground culture of LA.

I've been drawn into acts such as Kosha Dillz -- a Jewish rapper from New Jersey that had the crowd bangin' with his track "Wavy," to currently no-name DJs that grove and funk, hitting us with popular tracks such as "Function" by E40.

This week was unfortunately a little different from the packed crowd I was introduced to for my first visit. The much anticipated LA beat scene -- (instrumental hip hop) failed to make it a banger this time.

But there was hope. Low End Theory's beginnings has transcended to become a cool spot that allows for a casual setting vibe to enjoy the LA smoke in the air and feel good with the ambient music.  With school starting for many during this season, it may have been just been a tough night for many to make it out. But just like everything else in life -- you just have to make the best out of it.

The one DJ I listened to called Letheret was still groovin -- with a neo dub step funk that would make anyone want to sway their hips side to side. From the fellas to the hunnies, I recommend you all check out Low End Theory and go in with no expectations except to just enjoy whatever they throw at you.
