"We take care of those who are grieving," Biden said, "when that's finished, they should know we will follow them to the gates of hell untill they are brought to justice. Because hell is where they will reside."

Biden's speech was in respose to the video released by IS on Tuesday showing the decapitation of an American journalist Steven Sotoloff. Two weeks earlier, the terrorist group murdered another American, James Foley.

The Vice President's comments affirmed the White House's stance on condemning the Islamic state known as ISIS. On Tuesday, President Obama warned IS during his visit to Estonia that "those who make the mistake of harming Americans will learn that we will not forget, and that our reach is long and that justice will be served."
