There has been a great deal of controversy surrounding Time Warner Cable’s (TWC) television deal with the Dodgers. Fans who do not have a contract with TWC have not been able to watch live broadcasts of the Dodgers all season.

However, with a close race in the National League West Division, times are about to change.

After lots of negotiation, TWC finally reached a deal Monday with KDOC, an independent station that will broadcast the final six Dodger games, starting September 22.

Dodger fans will now have greater access to their beloved team, as KDOC is included in most of the major satellite company packages, like DirecTV, Charter Communications and Verizon FiOS.

This policy will not carry into the postseason and likely will not carry into the 2015 regular season either.

Enjoy free baseball while it lasts, Dodger fans!
