The mid–season finale left MTV's “Awkward” fans with a lot of questions concerning the drama between Jenna, Matty, and Eva. The excitement continues in full swing, leaving off with the finale’s huge revelation – Eva is pregnant.

The premiere begins with Jenna trying to talk to Matty about the ski lodge, but Eva doesn’t feel comfortable, and so she pulls Matty away. Sadie tells Jenna that nothing can be done about Matty – he is wrapped around her finger.

Next, Jenna tries to save something she has control over – her relationship with Luke. Jenna chose Matty over Luke in the finale, but nonetheless, she tries to remedy the situation by going to give him a care package. Upon arriving, Luke seemingly has another girlfriend, who even calls Jenna Luke’s “little sister.”

Sadie catches a nervous Lissa walking out of a classroom, after Lisa and her “brother,” Tyler, were making out. Luckily for Lissa, Ms. Marks tells them that she has an announcement, stopping Sadie from figuring out Lissa’s new hookup. Ms. Marks announces that there is an outbreak of “pregnant.” Thinking it’s about him and Eva, Matty confronts Sadie and Jenna about the news, but they claim they didn’t tell about the pregnancy.

Back at Matty’s house, his mom asks him if she has seen her diamond snowflake earrings because she lost them, but he replies no. Eva pressures him to tell his mom about the baby and acts insecure when Matty seems hesitant. Matty assures her that he still wants the baby and promises her that after finals, they can go look at engagement rings together.

Meanwhile, Lissa decides to use Jake as a beard for her and Tyler. Lissa flirts with Jake and Tyler becomes jealous. When Sadie prompts Lissa to reveal whom she likes, Lissa says she only loves Jesus.

When they are both in the bathroom, Eva tells Tamara that she is both pregnant and getting married. Tamara relays this information to Jenna and Jenna confronts Matty about the marriage. Jenna tells Matty that he doesn’t have to ruin his life over Eva, but Matty says she doesn’t get a say (Matty really needs to get his facts straight). Crying, Jenna leaves the room.

Luke texts Jenna that they should talk, but rushes home only for Luke to tell her that he needs to focus on school with no relationship distractions. Jenna comments, “This is what a mature break up looks like,” then promptly gives him two middle fingers. Her mom (for once) keeps her on track, telling her to forget about Luke and study for her Statistics final.

Eva condescendingly asks Jenna if she’s okay since she can’t seem to keep a man, but thankfully Matty sees this and begins to see her true nature.

When Lissa finds out her good grade, she celebrates with mistakenly hugging her brother, but then kisses Jake to cover it up. Sadie pulls her aside and claims she knows what Lissa has been up to – she is getting back together with Jake (I guess Sadie’s sixth sense is wearing off). Lissa agrees, but Tyler threatens Jake into not going out with Lissa.

While shopping for an engagement ring with Eva, Matty brings up the fact that she doesn’t always seem to be truthful around him. Matty says he went to Ms. Marks to talk about the pregnancy announcement, in which he finds out that the announcement was about another girl, Gloria, who was also wearing Mrs. Mckibben’s earrings.

We then figure out that at the ski lodge, Eva found Gloria’s positive pregnancy test, which is how she proved her pregnancy to Matty. Gloria didn’t like the fact that Eva was pretending, so Eva paid her off with the earrings to keep her quiet.

Matty was just about to forgive Eva once again until he remembered how mean she was to Jenna. He tells her that she has 24 hours to get out of his life, or he will tell everyone her secret (finally, he chooses the right girl).

In the final scene, Jenna and her mom were celebrating her finals grade by watching T.V. and eating Chinese food when Matty walks in. Matty tells Jenna that he knows Eva lied about everything. When Jenna asks if he’s okay, he gets a look of relief on his face and replies that he feels great since he doesn’t have to worry about a child or his deceitful girlfriend anymore. Matty says he’s sorry for not trusting her. They both end up sitting on her bed, snuggling, and eating Chinese food (who wouldn’t with Matty Mckibben?).

While Matty and Jenna shippers seem to have their favorite couple back together, the next episode teases that there’s trouble in paradise. With Eva finally gone, we all thought eveyrthing was right again in Jenna and Matty's world, but their relationship seems like it will get ruined by false rumors once again. Where is their relationship going to go next?

Tune in next week at 10/9c for episode 13 of MTV’s “Awkward.”
