Audi To Test Self-Driving Cars On California Public Roads

The next time you are driving near an Audi on a California road, you may realize that the car is actually driving itself. California is now one of four states in the U.S. that allow automakers to test self-driving cars on public roads.

Governor Jerry Brown fully supported the move to allow self-driving cars on California roads. He said, “Autonomous vehicles are another example of how California’s technological leadership is turning today’s science fiction into tomorrow’s reality. This law will allow California’s pioneering engineers to safely test and implement this amazing new technology.”
