The rise from obscurity to prominence is an exciting time for Hollywood’s newest stars. While many of the actors on this list below are still little-known talents, they are poised to be the next household names.

1. Dylan O’Brien

If you are a fan of MTV’s “Teen Wolf” remake then you’re already well aware of Dylan O’Brien and his supporting role in the show.  This year he will be taking on a leading role in “The Maze Runner,” a film adaption of James Dasher’s popular sci-fi novel.

2. Brie Larson

Brie Larson has played supporting roles in “The Spectacular Now” and Jonah Hill’s love interest in “21 Jump Street.” However, her latest starring role as Grace, a young supervisor for a group home of troubled teenagers, in “Short Term 12” won her several awards and nominations, including the Austin Film Critics Association and the Independent Spirit Awards.

5. Kaya Scoderlario

If you are an anglophile, or just a fan of the British teen drama series “Skins,” then you’re already well aware of Kaya and her portrayal of Effy Stonem.  The British beauty can be seen in “The Maze Runner” – out later this month – as the leading lady alongside Dylan O’Brien.

6. Dane DeHaan

You may remember Dane as the creepy dude from “Chronicle” or Daniel Radcliffe’s love interest in “Kill Your Darlings.” He is definitely an actor to watch, with a rumored second appearance in “The Amazing Spider-Man” franchise and the comedy “Life After Beth.”

7. Elle Fanning

The “runs in the family” idiom seems to hold true in the Fanning family.  While many already know Dakota Fanning, her sister Elle is sure to be a breakout in 2015 after her performance as Aurora in “Maleficent” this past spring.  The younger Fanning has already garnered a lot of attention from critics and fans alike, and has lined up several roles for 2015 and 2016, including Mary Shelley, British gothic writer of Frankenstein, in Haifaa Al-Mansour’s “A Storm in the Stars.”
