USC redshirt senior RB Anthony Brown quit the football team today, after alleging that head coach Steve Sarkisian is a racist.

Brown made a post to Instagram Thursday morning calling Sarkisian a "racist man" and saying the head coach "treated [Brown] like a slave." He has since taken the post down.

Sarkisian announced Brown's resignation to the media in a separate press conference. He said he was "shocked" by the accusations and believed that Brown could have helped the team.

Brown was moved from the cornerback to running back position this season. He was listed as fifth on the team's depth chart.
