Teen-Founded Start-Up Sells Hand-Crafted Longboards

A Southern California teen and longboard enthusiast is trying his hand at entrepreneurship. Silas Ander Fortuin, founder of 420sk8co, began building longboards with his friend and brother, and they soon launched their own business. The name of the company may raise some eyebrows (they're currently working on a rebrand), but the business is a legitimate effort to get a business that's based on craft off the ground. Plus, the teens have even paired with local artists to create beautiful designs for the boards.
