If Cochella is for flower-crowned movie stars and rich high school kids, then Outside Lands is for ya know, normal people who like to listen to music. With fewer DJs, cheaper tickets and freer flowing booze, many are beginning to prefer the six-year-old San Francisco festival to Cochella's desert experience.

Kanye West and the Arctic Monkeys wowed audiences on Friday, while a weekend lineup including  Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, The Killers and Tiesto leave attendees just as much to look forward to in the next two days.
