Ice Cube, Kevin Hart, and Ken Jeong ("The Hangover") will star. Tim Story is back as director, while Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi are writing the script.
Ice Cube, Will Packer, Matt Alvarez and Larry Brezner will produce.
The sequel shoots this summer and will be released Jan. 15, 2016.
