Justice Ginsburg's 35-Page Dissenting Opinion Turned Into Song

You can now learn the key points of the 35-page dissenting opinion that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg wrote for the Hobby Lobby contraceptive coverage through…a song.

Singer Jonathan Mann has managed to extract the salient points of the hefty document into a song that is just over two minutes long. 

Although Ginsburg didn’t actually call her male colleagues “slut-shaming geezers,” Mann’s lyrics do mostly draw verbatim from her dissent. The creative liberties he did take, however do add color to the grim forecast for women’s rights across the country.
