Women’s hearts around the world have just shattered into a million pieces.

An insider confirms to US Weekly that Ryan Gosling and girlfriend Eva Mendes are expecting a baby together.

Rumors began swirling early Wednesday morning that the “Hitch” star is seven months along with her bundle of joy! This wouldn’t come as a surprise since the extremely private actress hasn’t been photographed in public for over three months.

This will be the first child for both the 40-year-old beauty and her 33-year-old beau, who have been dating for nearly three years.

The attractive couple already has some practice with childcare, costarring as parents in 2012’s “The Place Beyond the Pines.”

OK! was the first to break the story, with a source telling the magazine, "[Eva's] been ready for motherhood for a while now and to be sharing this experience with Ryan is a dream come true for her."

"Ryan grew up without a dad, so he always said when he had kids, he'd be there no matter what," the source continued. "This is it for him."

Earlier this year, the mom-to-be laughed off pregnancy speculation during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. "It's so ridiculous," she said. "It all started because I didn't want to go through the scanners at the airport. You know those X-ray scanners, which are really creepy? They basically see you naked, right? And not only that, but there's a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out."

Fans of "The Notebook" hunk took to social media to share their utter devastation over the unexpected news. Read some of the best reactions at Hollywood Life, New York Daily News and E! News.

Nevertheless, congrats are still in order for the happy lovebirds!
