After a six-month, 45-agency investigation, the British police have taken over 600 suspected pedophiles into custody. 

Britain’s National Crime Agency reports that of even doctors, lawyers, caregivers and former police officers were among the 660 suspects arrested for having reportedly viewed pornographic images of children on the internet.

The investigation came on the heels of serious public concerns about pedophilia following news about a number of child molestation scandals.

British Prime Minister David Cameron has vowed to leave "no stone unturned" in the country's investigation into alleged child sex abuse.
