Lindsay Lohan Lands New Role At London's Playhouse Theatre

Lindsay Lohan, previously known for her tardiness to movie shoots and court appearances, booked a new gig at London's Playhouse Theatre.

The actress will have a part in David Mamet's Hollywood satire "Speed-the-Plow," scheduled to perform eight times a week from October to November.

Lohan will play Karen, a notable Hollywood executive's personal secretary. Madonna first played Karen on Broadway in 1988.

No other casting announcements in the three-character play have yet been made, though Lindsay Posner is set to direct.
