Tony Awards Performers Are Sure To Amaze Many

Are you tuning in to see Wolverine, I mean Hugh Jackman as he returns to host The Tony Awards for a fourth time? Yay or nay – we have a list of big names that might make you want to stick and watch the ceremony.
Now on its 68thAnnual Tony Awards, the event will be held on June 8thand will broadcast live from New York’s Radio City Music Hall. The event will air through CBS, which promises an evening filled with a star-studded list of performers.
Announced on Thursday, the featured performances include: this year’s Tony Nominee’s Idina Menzel, Neil Patrick Harris, Sutton Foster, and Alan Cumming who will reprise his Tony Award winning role. Menzel will perform a song from the musical “If/Then.” Performances will come from Harris with the cast of “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” and Foster with the cast of “Violet”.

The night also includes performances from this year’s best musicals: “Aladdin,” “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical,” “Bullets Over Broadway and Rocky,” “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder,” and “Les Misérables.”
The Tony Awards will also make sure to celebrate “Wicked’s” 10thanniversary through a unique performance. Patti LaBelle, Glady’s Knight, and Fantasia, all music celebrities will sing along with the cast of “After Midnight.” Also, musician Sting will perform a song from an upcoming musical “The Last Ship”.
