Stars and producers of the classic indie film will reunite for a sequel of the 2002 Academy Award nominated film, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding."

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Nia Vardalos has writted the script and is set to reprise her role as Toula Portokalos, a first generation Greek-American woman. The story will revisit the Portokalos family when the reveal of a family secret brings them together for what is described as an even bigger, fatter wedding.

John Corbett is confirmed to return as Toula's husband, Ian Miller, and Rita Wilson will return to produce along with Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman through Playtone. No director has yet been announced.

"Now that I'm experiencing motherhood, I'm ready to write the next chapter of my family story," Verdalos said on Twitter. "Of course, a few jaded folks in the press corps will claim I ran out of money or just want to kiss John Corbett again. One of these things is true."
