Let the frustration resume. The gaming craze is coming back in August.

Despite racking up $50,000 a day for his smartphone sensation, creator Dong Nguyen previously yanked Flappy Bird from app stores back in February when he started receiving hordes of negative attention online.

Anonymous users accused him of stealing from Nintendo and sent nasty death threats his way. Nguyen told Rolling Stone in March he did not like how the game was impacting the players' lives. The addictive nature of the game was problematic for him.

In an effort to resume normality in his life, Flappy Bird was killed… Til now.

Remakes of the game were plenty, but not the same. Some remakes even featured popular culture figures, like Miley Cyrus.

Nguyen asserts the multiplayer game will not be as addictive as its original. How he aims to fulfill this promise has not been made clear.
