Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler are bringing comedy back to the big screen in another romantic comedy, "Blended."

After starring in “The Wedding Singer” and “50 First Dates” together, his is the best on screen duo the two have done.

"Blended" begins introducing us to the two very different characters by showing Lauren (Drew Barrymore) and Jim’s (Adam Sandler) manners on a blind date. After the date at Hooters goes wrong, the film shows us their work life and friends, along with their families as single parents.

Though the film is continuously keeping the audience laughing, without there ever being a dull moment, the real action begins when the two families take a trip to Africa after their mutual friends go through a break up and give up their romantically planned trip.

Naturally, the two are upset they are staying at the same resort, but bond through the only thing they know they have in common—their children. Both take on a parent role for each other’s children, helping them overcome the different challenges they have in their age groups. And just like that, the families begin to “blend.”

Like many romantic comedies, the ending of the film is predictable; however, “Blended” is great for laughs and is an opportunity to sight see Africa with the purchase of a movie ticket. Barrymore and Sandler have a great on-screen chemistry, and screenwriters Clara Sera and Ivan Menchell incorporate real and humorous dialogue.

Some stars that we see are Shaquillle O’Neal as Jim’s friends and co-worker. E!’s Joel McHale plays the bad dad routine as Lauren’s unfaithful former husband. Kevin Nealon plays a rather obnoxious (but hilarious) man on vacation with his son and younger wife. He has starred with Sandler in “Anger Management” and with Sandler and Barrymore in “The Wedding Singer.” Others include Wendi McLendon-Covey from “Bridesmaids,” Disney’s "Shake It Up" star Bella Thorne, and "50 First Dates" actor Allen Covert as Ten-Second Tom...again!
