Ukraine: Russia Wants 'Division And Destruction' Of Ukraine

It started with the annexation of Crimea -- but Ukrainian officials are saying Russia won't be satisfied until it sees the "division and destruction" of the entire country.

After pro-Russian protesters took control of buildings in eastern Ukraine, Ukraine's government is accusing Russia of igniting separatist forces.

"Putin and Yanukovych ordered and paid for the latest wave of separatist disorder in the east of the country," Ukraine's interior minister Arsen Avakov wrote on Facebook. "The people who have gathered are not many, but they are very aggressive."

"Russia's scenario is the division and destruction of Ukraine," Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said at a Cabinet meeting. "They plan for foreign troops to cross the border and attack the country. We won't let it happen."

The accusations come after pro-Russian activists took control over Ukrainian buildings in Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv.
