'Orange Is The New Black' Season 2 Trailer Is Released
Everyone’s favorite Netflix Original Series (sorry, “House of Cards”) finally has a trailer for its long-awaited second season. Netflix will drop 13 glorious new episodes of “Orange Is The New Black” on June 6, but until then this trailer will have to be enough.
Many of the usual suspects convicts are back and up to their usual prison business. Piper, Red, Daya, Sophia and Nicky appear in the trailer, as do non-prisoners Pornstache, Bennett, Mr. Healy and Jason Bigg’s sad-yet-annoying Larry. A new season also brings new faces in the form of Lorraine Toussaint’s mysterious “Vee.”
Not all of last season’s characters are still around, though. Noticeably absent is Taryn Manning’s certifiable Pennsatucky, leaving the resolution of last season’s cliffhanger until June 6. Laura Prepon only makes the briefest of appearances, bringing sad life to the fact that she’ll be leaving the show.
The trailer promises a more “vicious” Piper and lots of tension in Litchfield. Season 2 is shaping up to be another great one for “OITNB,” but we'll have to wait until June to see it. Thank goodness we finally have a trailer to tide us over.
