The suspect accused of opening fire on two LAPD officers inside the Wilshire  station was charged on Thursday with attempted murder, according to the LA District Attorney's Office.

Daniel Christoph Yealu, 29, entered the LAPD station's lobby around 8:00pm on Monday.  After speaking with an officer, he opened fire using a semi-automatic Glock pistol, wounding one officer.

LAPD officers returned fire, wounding Yealu, who remains hospitalized.
