James Franco has made yet another move that has drawn the eye of the public directly to him. An alleged private conversation between him and a 17-year-old girl visiting New York from Scotland leaked online. In this conversation, it appears that the actor tries to persuade her to meet him at a hotel room, according to Huffington Post.

Photos and screen caps of their conversation were uploaded to Imgur on April 2, but have since been removed.

In this conversation, Franco asks the girl where she's from, if she's single, and wants to meet up should he get a hotel. Franco began to ask these questions after she told him she's a few days away from her 18th birthday.

The girl and the 35-year-old seemed to have crossed paths when the actor was signing autographs outside of the Longacre Theatre, where he's currently performing in "Of Mice and Men." The teen tagged Franco in an Instagram photo, and they apparently began chatting from there. The girl also posted a video onto her Instagram account, where he explicitly asks her to tag him in a photo in order for them to reconnect.

During the alleged conversation the teen was skeptical of whether or not she was truly talking to Franco (who wouldn't?). She requested that he write her name on a piece of paper and send her a photo of his face, where the actor appears to have gone along with.

After the conversation was leaked, Franco posted a photo of himself explaining he is not interested in underage girls, "I'M NOT! I HOPE PARENTS KEEP THEIR TEENS AWAY FROM ME. thank you."

Of course, we can't help but hope that the leaked conversation is all part of an elaborate promotional campaign for Franco's new movie "Palo Alto," based on his short stories, where he plays a high school teacher who has an affair with one of his teenage students.

See the entire alleged conversation at Huffington Post.
