A new report, relating to the Los Angeles 2020 Commission report that offers various recommendations to spur job growth, covers the nearly every industry but Hollywood.

Hollywood’s labor unions have been claiming more attention from L.A. leaders to protect “one of the area’s economic pillars”. Locally, the entertainment industry has the largest amount of private employers, and an output of $60.9 billion in 2012, taking 11 percent of Los Angeles County’s overall economy, according to a recent report from the Otis College of Art and Design.
