Gwen Stefani Officially Joins 'The Voice'

The No Doubt singer confirmed the news on Instagram when she posted a photo, holding up a microphone and a hand gesture to represent the show, with the caption, "It's true @nbcthevoice."
Last month, the beauty welcomed her third son, Apollo Bowie Flynn Rossdale, with husband Gavin Rossdale. But, it looks like the hard-working mom is ready to get back to the grind.

Stefani will take Christina Aguilera’s place for the seventh season, which will debut in the fall. According to E! News, NBC announced that Aguilera, who is pregnant with her second child, will return for the show’s eighth season. The pop diva went on Twitter to graciously send a congratulatory message to her replacement. "So excited to have you join #TheVoice squad @GwenStefani! Welcome to our crazy fam! Kisses- xoxo #blondesdoitbest," she wrote.
The 44-year-old will join fellow newbie Pharrell Williams, and veterans Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. Williams was chosen last month to replace CeeLo Green, who decided to exit the show after coaching for four seasons.
“I just don’t want to wear out my welcome there, you know what I’m saying? I have so many other things that I want to do,” he said during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. “I haven’t released an album in almost four years.”
Although Green’s departure came as a surprise, NBC is extremely excited to have Williams on board.
"It's been a huge year for Pharrell, with recognition for his contribution in the world of music - the ‘Despicable Me’ franchise soundtracks, his Oscar-nominated song ‘Happy' and his Grammy-winning collaboration with Daft Punk on the breakout dance hit ‘Get Lucky.' His dominance in record sales in 2014, coupled with his incomparable accomplishments in the world of fashion and design, make him an irresistible addition to 'The Voice' family," NBC boss Paul Telegdy said in a statement.
The sixth season of “The Voice” is currently underway with coaches Levine, Shelton, Shakira and Usher.
