The season is winding down. You all know what’s happening at the end. Her story continues its wrap-up. Does Cristina win the prestigious Harper Avery award? Let’s recap this week’s "Grey’s" now.

Branching Out: Well, it looks like Alex has decided to go the private practice route, but he hasn’t told his close circle yet. Only Jo knows, and refers to him as her “sexy double agent”- he works at the hospital then does a little freelance at the practice. Things seem to be going toward a more permanent career path- will Karev leave Grey Sloan Memorial altogether?

Calzona: The lovely couple establish that they’re ready to have another baby, but who’s going to carry the child? The ladies agree to a coin toss- it’s the only fair way, right? Heads,  Callie carries their baby and tails Arizona does. Right before the toss, Arizona freaks out and realizes she DOESN’T really want to a carry a baby, so it’s back to Callie for sure. Well that was easy. Yay for another baby!

Higher Power: We’ve all known Jackson is not a religious, but when they newlywed couple face a deaf family who’s beliefs are different than Avery’s, it triggers a nerve in April that realizes Jackson feels the same about April’s faith as he does the deaf family’s medical decisions- ridiculous. YIKES! Things get heated and we see sad April knocking on Calzona’s door, looking for a place to stay for awhile. How can it be trouble in paradise already??

I’m Better Than You: The Harper Avery award is the big kahuna of them all- particularly to Yang. This nomination has been driving everyone in the hospital crazy, and it’s time for Cristina to hop on a plane to Boston and find out her fate. She insists that she wants to go alone, no Mer or Owen to be there by her side either to celebrate or offer their shoulder. After consistent nagging, the two finally agree to let her go alone. Sure enough, just minutes before the ceremony is to begin, Cristina makes a last minute call to her ‘person’ and tells her she made a mistake, she wishes someone was with her. CUE PRECIOUS moment and Owen and Meredith BOTH are sitting at Cristina’s table. The award is announces and…guess you’ll have to watch and see if she wins.

Tune in to ABC to watch "Grey’s Anatomy" Thursdays at 9pm. The Farewell to Cristina is just beginning.
