Columbus Short, one of the stars of ABC’s massively huge series “Scandal,” has been accused of making death threats and physically abusing his wife, Tuere Short.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the alleged incident occurred on April 7 when Columbus attacked his wife with a wine bottle and poured the wine on her. The restraining order says Columbus accused Tuere of having an affair and held a knife to her throat, threatening to kill them both.

This is not the first time Short’s violent tendencies have been a problem. The restraining order alleges two other incidents of physical and verbal abuse in the presence of 2-year-old their daughter. Short also made headlines last month when he was arrested in a Los Angeles restaurant for punching another patron.

Tuere has received a temporary restraining order and custody of their daughter. A hearing is scheduled for May 6.
