Apple Releases Cheaper Macbook Airs

Apple updated its MacBook Air Tuesday with a faster processor and a $100 price drop.

The cheapest model is now only $899. 

Similar to the 2013 model, the latest generation still has some of the old features: 4GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 5000 and either 128GB or 256 GB PCle-based flash storage.

With the new version of the 13-inch MacBook Air, the battery will last up to 12 hours. The 11-inch version will last up to 9 hours, according to CNN.
