Popfest, USC Thornton School of Music's annual showcase of new contemporary music, just announced this year's line up. The event will take place on Friday, March 28 in Tommy's Place. Music starts at 4 p.m. and goes until midnight. Admission is free.

This is the third annual Popfest show. Each act has at least one member who is in the Contemporary Music division (Popular Music, Jazz Studies, Music Industry). The showcase has quick turnovers between artists with 25 minute band sets and 8 minute songwriter sets. 

Pop senior and 3-time Popfest performer, Nina Francis explains, "It's the most amazing time of year for the pop music community at USC. I get to hear what all my friends have been working on musically all in one place at the same time. I'm always blown away by the talent we have here!"
