Live actors and puppets alike gave brilliant performances. Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, and the rest of the beloved muppet gang kept audiences laughing with their crazy antics, while a few new actors spiced up the story line.

In the second installment of the muppets movie, the muppet crew goes on a worldwide tour despite Kermit's objection that everyone is unprepared. Under the advisement of the new manager, Dominic Badguy (Ricky Gervais), the world tour begins.

As the world tour opens, an evil frog named Constantine escapes prison and works closely with Dominic to take Kermit's place amongst the muppets. Constantine assumes Kermit's identity as part of a convoluted and lengthly plan to steal England's crown jewels.

Consequently, Kermit is mistakenly arrested and an adventure ensues that follows Kermit's life in prison and the ongoing investigation surrounding Constantine's crimes.

The adventures are only enhanced by focal actors Ricky Gervais, Tina Fey and Ty Burrell. These three actors flawlessly perform alongside puppets as if they are interacting with real people and they exaggerate their characters at all the right moments to compliment the script.

Comedian Tina Fey was outstanding as prison supervisor, Nadya, because she was upbeat but stern. Nadya sang along with the inmates and built a deep bond with Kermit, but she showcased her dominance by keeping her rowdy prisoners in line.

In her opening scene, Fey sarcastically welcomes Kermit to prison with her song "Welcome To The Big House," in which she jokes about how her facility is just as fabulous as a five star hotel.

Fey played Nadya perfectly because she was able to keep every situation light hearted while also giving an authentic performance. Even her phony Russian accent never faltered.

Similarly, Ty Burrell flaunted an absurd French accent, but it was a perfect fit for his role.

Burrell played the bumbling cop with good intent, Jean Pierre Napoleon. Burrell played to his strengths by approaching the role with his signature flat humor.

Napoleon has a tiny toy car that he claims is a certified police vehicle. When his temporary American partner comments on how ridiculously small the car is, Napoleon responds "yes, many of them have been outlawed for their massive size."

Throughot the film, he continues to make outlandish remarks while keeping a completely straight face. This left audiences constantly laughing.

Despite being evil, Ricky Gervais also incited laughter with his devilishly good acting.

Gervais had the most important role- aside from the muppets of course- and he performed accordingly. Gervais took his role more seriously than Fey and Burrell, but he brought his unique wit to his character, Dominic.

Dominic was apart of pivotal scenes in which he could not always approach it with comedy, but he would always end the scene with a small token of humor to keep the good times rolling.

In his musical number with Constantine, Dominic sings about the strife of being "number two" to an evil genius. While Constantine belts out the song, and constantly refers to Dominic as "number two," Dominic would casually speak in between versuses, saying "we get it, you're number one," and give a very appropiate but very exaggerated eye roll.

Whether it was a simple face expression, or a short dance move, Gervais always made sure viewers were entertained.

Popular celebrities were also sprinkled throughout the film to keep everyone entertained. As if the shocking story line was not enough, Lady Gaga, Salma Hayek, P. Diddy and more big names made remarkable cameos, giving 'The Muppets Most Wanted' the perfect balance between muppets, celebrities and fun.
