Since Katy Perry's big breakup with John Mayer, the singer has been doing just fine.

After splitting up with the "Your Body is a Wonderland" singer last month, Perry has been out and about, with new hair, prepping for a new tour, and quite the expensive new hobby.

"I'm going to slowly become an art collector," Perry said at MOCA's 35th Anniversary Gala presented by Louis Vuitton, according to E! News. "Today, we had an all-day art crawl. We got to see some private collections from some people's homes and then we went to a couple of galleries."

The bubbly pop singer, to no surprise, said she really enjoys modern contemporary art and pop art. Looking at her music videos, it only seems natural that she's drawn to the eye-catching and colorful pieces. Of course, the "Dark Horse" singer wants an education in art history.

However, the star's free time for the galleries will fall short, since her seven-month Prismatic World Tour on May 7 in Belfast. With high anticipation, Katy Perry is looking forward to her next tour.

"I'm challenging myself again, pushing my limits as I do…" she said. "I'm very excited because I believe this is my best work yet as fas as live performances. It's going to be just as colorful and fun as before, but it's obviously not based on candy. It's grown up. It's more mature.
