John Legend stopped into Los Angeles's Walt Disney Concert Hall for an intimate performance as a part of his 2014 North American "All of Me" tour. Accompanied by a string quartet and a guitar, the nine-time Grammy-award winning artist serenaded the audience from his seat at the grand piano.

The audience was welcomed into Legend's life as he shared stories between songs. Reminiscing on his time at the University of Pennsylvania, Legend remembered spending years trying to get a record deal -- from 1998 to 2001 -- until he met producer Kanye West.

Legend performed favorites such as "Ordinary People," "Save Room" and "Let's Get Lifted." The audience in the beautiful concert hall sang along to many songs, as Legend passed choruses off just as he would in a living room sing along. He covered Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing in the Dark," and encored with his hit "All of Me." The acoustics of the concert hall combined with Legend's smooth vocals and piano chops created an impeccable sound.
