Girl's Facebook Post Costs Her Dad $80,000

Another reason to think twice before posting to Facebook: a teenaged girl's Facebook post cost her father $80,000.

According to the Miami Herald, Patrick Snay sued a local preparatory school for age discrimination after he lost his job as headmaster. 

Just when the school agreed to settle the case for $80,000 -- on the stipulation that Snay honor a confidentiality agreement -- his daughter posted:

"Mama and Papa Snay won the case against Gulliver. Gulliver is now officially paying for my vacation to Europe this summer."

The judge rendered the settlement invalid after Snay's daughter breached the confidentiality agreement.
