The Oscars bring out some of the most beautiful hair and makeup looks of the year, but some people always fail to look the part. Here are the attendees who should consider firing their hair and makeup artists.

Love the hair. But the rest is hard to look at.

Liza Minnelli

It's hard to determine whether Minnelli was trying to look punk-rock or if she was channeling her inner-Smurf with her blue streak of hair, but either way, her hair and makeup was a scary disaster.

The messy bangs and vampy lip were an unflattering contrast to her delicate dress. Granted, anything would probably be better than her look from "The Wolf of Wall Street," but she could have done better.

J. Law has one of the freshest faces in Hollywood, but her upswept pixie cut and drab makeup made her look 40 instead of 23.

Hawn's orangey makeup and messy hair make her look old and washed out instead of a golden goddess.

Her hair and dress are great, but this au natural makeup makes Flockhart look older than she really is.

Her purple retro-inspired hair looks fabulous, but Osbourne's nude makeup washes out her face and takes away all its dimension.

We all love Leo, but his makeup team should go easy on the fake tan next time.
