A man carrying two bags was tackled by Secret Service trying to jump the north security fence of the White House.

President Barack Obama was not in the White House at the time. The President was in Michigan for a speech and signing the farm bill during the time of the incident.

According to the NY Daily News, Pennsylvania Avenue was shut down for nearly an hour while the contents of the bags were being examined.

Update: The White House is no longer on lockdown.

If anyone has footage of the man being run down by the Secret Service, please post it on YouTube for us to enjoy.

Here is a video of someone managing to jump the fence a few years ago and suffering the consequences.
