Washington Suspends Death Penalty

Washington is the latest state to suspend the death penalty -- so long as Governor Jay Inslee is in office, that is.

Inslee announced his decision to ban executions on Tuesday.

He claimed that the capital punishment system is fundamentally flawed.

"And when the ultimate decision is death, there is too much at stake to accept an imperfect system," Inslee said
