Thai Protesters Besiege Prime Minister's Office

The civil court of Thailand has ruled that some orders issued by Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and a special security command centre under an emergency decree were illegal as they violate the protesters' constitutional rights. The court ordered the government not to use force against anti-government protesters after clashes between riot police and demonstrators left five dead and 70 wounded.

Protesters have been calling for the PM's resignation since November. On Wednesday, they besieged Yingluck's temporary offices in Bangkok and vowed to hunt her down until she resigns.
