Kesha has postponed her U.S. dates for her Warrior tour in order to stay in rehab for an eating disorder. She decided not to begin her tour until she completes her treatment. The pop singer had shows scheduled for March and April.

"I need to follow my doctor's advice and get my health back on track," the "Die Young" singer said in a statement. The young singer was excited and looking forward to performing during her new tour, according to the LA Times.

This past January, the 26-year-old checked herself into Timberline Knolls just outside of Chicago. Demi Lovato went to this same facility in 2010.

As sad as it is to see that her tour is postponed, we're glad to see that the "Tik Tok" singer is taking responsibility for her health and is making decisions to be as healthy as possible.

Kesha isn't the only star to cancel tour dates for personal reasons, though. Selena Gomez announced in December the cancelation her Australian tour in order to spend some time focusing on herself. British band The Wanted also canceled tour dates last December for their European shows after band member Max George flew home to attend family matters.

While all of these stars make it apparent that their fans are the ones who have supported them throughout their careers and are sad to disappoint them, it is always more important to put health before work. These artists also make it clear that they want to be able to present themselves in the best way possible for their fans.

Fans are advised to contact their local box offices for refunds.
