Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti is seeking community imput on what should be included in the city's 2014 budget.

As noted by CityWatch LA, "Under the newly instituted Performance Budgeting program, the City’s scarce resources will be directed to the highest priority goals and outcomes while lower priority activities will be either reduced or eliminated."

Whether Garcetti will expand the city's budget or cut spending to resolve
a $250 million budget deficit is yet to be known.

Rick Cole, Eric Garcetti’s Deputy Mayor for Budget and Innovation also presented during the "Budget 101 Workshops" throughout Los Angeles.

The mayor and his team made stops in Hollywood, South LA, and the San Fernando Valley.

This week they traveled West.
